Dear Eric,
The day after I submitted my recording I went in the hospital for open heart surgery for a valve replacement. I have been in the hospital until August 6th with some serious complications. I used the metaphor of Deep Field to help guide me through this journey because my recovery pretty much followed the path of the creation of the Hubble. Fortunately for me and the Hubble we both came out with clearer vision and in my case more breath. Thank you for this gift to the planet you have created It was an honor. At those moments when I thought I might not make it I took comfort in knowing that my voice was part of this global community.
